Digitization

Digitization is an important tool in the conservation of archives as it prevents the archival material from further damage due to recurrent handling.

Dry & Wet Cleaning

Dry Cleaning Treatment

An important part of the conservation of archives is the dry cleaning treatment. With a number of specialized dry & wet cleaning chemicals, important to the sensitivity of the paper fibers, we offer dry and wet cleaning that helps reduce and remove centuries-old dust & grease hidden in the thin fibers of the paper, giving it a thorough clean.

Cleaning of Stubborn Stains

For this treatment cellulose friendly chemicals are used to clean stubborn oil stains, tape marks, wax stains, and all other types of stains from the documents, which become a part of these age-old documents due to improper handling & storage.

De-Acidification

In order to prevent archival material from further environmental damage and to neutralize the acidic content of the paper, we provide a de-acidification treatment to remediate damage to cellulose content in the paper. Sizing

We offer to size for damaged archival material with the help of special glues and solutions. This is a remedy for heavily damaged paper. Sizing followed by flattening prevents decay.

Mending, Lining, Reinforcing & Infills
